PEDICAB is composed of Mike Dizon, Raimund Marasigan, Jason Caballa, Diego Mapa , and RA Rivera. The band was created out of each band member’s longing to play attractive danceable punk rock, humorously referred by the band as dunk music, dance-punk.
Their use of classic analog synthesizers instead of the conventional bass guitar, as well as Diego’s quirky vocal style and diverse lyrics, has given Pedicab a distinctive sound, scented of 80s synch-pop with garage rock zest. While the band’s seasoned lineup may be reason enough to create a center of attention to curious listeners, Pedicab has managed to build a faithful following with their catching original tunes and energetic live performances. RA’s visuals give Pedicab’s live shows a typical performance-art edge.
Pedicab’s first album, dubbed “Tugish Takish” boasts of impressively slick production, as evidenced by the hook-laden primary single ‘Dizzy Boy’, and arrangements employing a minimal-as-maximal approach, leaving a lot of space to dance to. More remarkable is the way the band adds that Pinoy rock flavor as evidenced by the nifty guitar lines and lyrical hooks.

Wala ka nang gagastusin
Hindi ang pera mo,
at buhay mo na rin
Ako ang kaligtasan,
ako ang kayamanan
Ako ang kasaysayan,
ako inaasam
Ako bahala sayo ,
Wala ka nang gagastusin
Hindi ang pera mo,
at buhay mo na rin
Ako ang special,
ako ang pandesal
Ako ang mantikilya,
ako ang almusal
